The 2018 Coral Springs Grand Gala featuring the Covered Bridge Award and the Small Business Leader Award is on Friday, April 13th 2018 at the Ft. Lauderdale/Coral Springs Marriott at 6:00 PM. This year's theme is “It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere…" and will feature a “Food and Wine Showcase", dinner, auction prizes as well as dancing! The recipient of the Small Business Leader and Covered Bridge Awards must:
Demonstrate personal excellence and integrity in their business and or profession by conducting an ethical, profitable business. Shown dedication to the Chamber and the community by giving time, energy and resources Must be a member in good standing of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce and have not won a business award in the last three years.
Small Business Leader of the Year - In honor of National Small Business Week, each Chamber recognizes an outstanding business person in their community. The recipient of this award will be recognized again at the Broward County Council of Chambers Small Business Leader of the Year event which will be held on May 11th. The Small Business Leader should:
Be a member in good standing of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce Be a sole proprietor or hold controlling interest in his or her business have been in business at least two years, have fewer than 50 employees Show that their business has experienced growth or other measureable indicators of business success in the past twelve months.
The Covered Bridge Award - This is the highest award in Coral Springs for civic leadership and has been presented since 1981. The Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to continue the tradition of awarding an individual who has given unselfishly of their time and talent. The nominee must:
Be a member in good standing of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce Live or work in Coral Springs; be active in more than one organization Have community involvement above and beyond professional obligations Have made a positive impact on the Coral Springs community Consideration will be given to both financial and volunteer/community service contributions. Elected officials, currently in office, are NOT eligible.
Coral Springs Business Awards 2018 Nomination Form The 2018 Coral Springs Business Awards recognizes outstanding leaders who have contributed to the growth the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce and the businesses that serve Coral Springs.
