THE ACTS 29 CHURCH IS A WITNESSING CHURCH (Acts 1:8) A. The personnel for witnessing – “But ye shall…upon you…and ye shall” B. The power for witnessing – “receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come” C. The plan for witnessing – “both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” 1. Matthew 28:19, “As ye go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” THE ACTS 29 CHURCH IS A WORSHIPPING CHURCH (Acts 2:42-46) A. It is a preaching church – “and they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine” B. It is a praying church – “and in prayers” C. It is a praising church – “praising God” THE ACTS 29 CHURCH IS A WAITING CHURCH (Acts 1:11) A. He left veiled and He will return veiled 1. Matthew 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” B. He left visibly and He will return visibly 1. Revelation 1:7, “Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him” C. He left victoriously and He will return victoriously 1.
