Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. What will the “Spirit of God” do in my life? 1. He _________ me to _________. Jn. 16:7, Jn. 16:14-15 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. John 16:7 (NLT)

How does He transform me? He changes my personality. Galatians 5:22-25 He makes me stronger. Romans 8:26 He helps me know the ways of God. John 14:26 He intercedes and intervenes in my life. Romans 8:26, Acts 16:6 He reveals God’s purpose and plans for my life. John16:13 He warns me when I am wrong.

3. He places me in the ________ of the Miraculous ________________. So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized. Acts 9:17-18 (NLT)

4. He wants to use me to ____ His miraculous work. Jesus said… I tell you the truth, whoever believes in me will do the same things that I do. Those who believe will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And if you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14 (NCV)

How do I engage the “Miracles of God” in my life? 1. I must place ____ life fully into the hands of _________ _________. Those who believed…. Acts 2:41

The check on the Spirit’s leading… It will never contradict His word… It will be confirmed by other true believers… There will be peace. Going deeper on your own. Read Acts 1-5. Now go back and look at chapter 2 carefully. Read Acts 2:42-47. Make a list of what the first believers did. Now which of these are you actively doing? Which one of these are you not doing? Intentionally choose this week to do each of these things the new believers were doing.
