Dear Fine Arts Student: LIVE YOUR PASSION! The Bluefield College Fine Arts Division invites you to LIVE YOUR PASSION for art, music or theatre by participating in our second annual Fine Arts Showcase for prospective students on February 17-18, here on the beautiful campus of Bluefield College. You are invited to attend performances by Bluefield College faculty and students, receive individual instruction in a Masterclass, interact with current and prospective Bluefield College students, meet Bluefield College Faculty members, attend class, stay in our new residence hall and much more! The Bluefield College Fine Arts Showcase will help you discover the Bluefield College community of actors, artists and musicians. If you are considering a major in art, art education, graphic communication, music, applied music, church music, music education, theatre or Christian drama then this event is for you. We believe that the Fine Arts Showcase will help you better understand what it means to pursue one of these majors and help you discern the path God has for you. Perhaps Bluefield College will be the place you nurture these gifts and talents that God has placed in your life. Caring Faculty Members, Staff and Administrators join together to help you discover your fullest potential as a student, artist, performer and leader. Your participation in the Fine Arts Showcase will help you discern if you will be a part of this exciting time at Bluefield College! The Bluefield College Fine Arts Showcase is designed for maximum flexibility and opportunity. We would love for you to attend both days-- but you are certainly free to attend whichever day best fits your schedule and/or interests. You may register at various times throughout the event, attend the classes of your choice and select various individual appointments as you prefer. You may elect to stay on campus in the residence hall on Friday evening or make other arrangements. Your family members are welcome and encouraged to attend the various performances and presentations as they wish. You will also have many informal opportunities to visit with current Bluefield College students, faculty and staff. In short, you will experience life at Bluefield College!
