Church Work Day – May 21st 9am-Noon As most of you know, Central Christian is hosting the MidAmerica Regional Assembly in October. This is a wonderful way for others to come to our church and see the many ways we are participating in the life of our community and showing the love of Christ to the world. Because we are wanting to show the best that Central Christian is, we are going to have work days in the months leading up to October so that we do not have a large amount of work just before the event. The first work day is going to be held on May 21st from 9AM to Noon. All are invited to come and be a part of this fellowship as we help the walls of our church glow with the same beauty as our members.
REMINDER TO CENTRAL SINGLES! Our May Day lunch is this coming Sunday, May 1 in the McGinnis Fellowship Hall, starting at noon. A sloppy-joe lunch will be available for $3.00 or you may bring your own brown-bag lunch. After lunch, Ginger Williamson will be leading us in a fun board game or two; you may also help make May Baskets, if you wish. We will deliver the baskets as a surprise to a few residents near the church. Please call Jan (417-224-3325) if you have questions or need to sign up for lunch. See you on Sunday!

CWF Service Report - March 2016 Project = Woodhaven Learning Center We donated $50 to this project. Our total giving to Newborns in Need this month was 20 tacked baby quilts. We gave 12 items of used baby clothing And several pieces of flannel fabric. Our total volunteer hours was 54.

Many times families are not from the Springfield area and do not know many in our town. If you are interested in helping members of our church during this hard time and being there for them by helping with the service, please let the church office know and we will add your name to the list. Central Christian would like to thank all those who have helped us with this ministry in the past week and all those who are willing to be a part of this service in the future.
