The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) requests: 4 new CAT5e (or better) network data drops with jacks installed in the DCF New Bedford building at 100 N. Front St., New Bedford, MA 02740:   

(2) new ports installed in the first floor small conference room. (1) new port installed on the 2nd floor on the west wall across from the area where Kendyll Ramos sits. (1) port on the 2nd floor outside Dee Lope’s office that has not worked for some time. Please troubleshoot data jack and provide new port/wiring if necessary.

All cable runs should terminate in either the MDF or the nearest IDF, whichever is closer. Please provide a price quote based on your submission to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Master Agreement ITC54, “Cabling Services for Data Infrastructure (Non-Construction Related Low Voltage)”. One or more ends of each cable run terminate in a secured room. Any contractors wishing to review the site prior to submitting a bid must contact the IT Site Manager (listed below) and he/she will advise the day and time to schedule access. All work shall be done during normal business hours and completed within five (5) business days from the date of notification of the award of work. All work is to be scheduled with the local contacts - all work that will disrupt communications will be done outside of normal business hours. The contractor is responsible for obtaining and paying for all permit application fees, and for the performance of all work in accordance with state and local ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to adhering to the Massachusetts prevailing wage laws and submitting weekly payroll reports.
