The E-Myths Revisited Speaker: Ronnie Norman

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Evangelism is the speaking and showing of the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. 9

While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11When the Pharisees saw this, 10

they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”  12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor,

but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

You see a hurt that only Jesus can heal.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 6

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this allsurpassing power is from God and not from us. 7

“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”

Bold & Winsome

1.  Do you know anyone who does not need Jesus?

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

2.  If I point someone towards Jesus, who can I count on to get personally involved?

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

3.  Am I praying for and walking through open doors?

And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 3
