Introduction from the BUCS Chief Executive – Karen Rothery We are delighted to be back in Edinburgh for the fourteenth BUCS Home Nations 2010 (previously the British University Games). Over the next four days we expect to see some 700 of our best student athletes competing for their university’s Home Nation in five sports. Huge thanks must go to Scottish Universities Sport (SUS), the University of Edinburgh University and Heriot-Watt University for all their hard work in ensuring that this event runs smoothly and professionally. Without them the event could not happen. Whether you are competing, officiating, volunteering or cheering on your Nation, I wish you all the best this week. It’s going to be a great event and I hope you leave Edinburgh with some lasting memories of the city and university sport.
