This may be a great time to use a commentary, bible dictionary, or an online resource likewww.biblgateway.com. 4. Have someone read 1 Peter 2:24. What does this have to do with redemption? 5. Have someone read Romans 3:21-24 and Romans 6:23. If our sin were not redeemed, what would be the ultimate result in our lives? 6. Last week we studied how the ultimate source of our scars is sin. How do these passages explain how our scars can be redeemed? 7. Is it easy for you or difficult to view yourself as righteous? Explain. 8. Interact with the following equation: Faith = Fact + Belief + Action. How does your own faith in God reflect this? 9. Read Ephesians 2:8-10. How does this passage fit the above equation? What about these verses is most encouraging to you? 10. How do these verses give us hope for the scars in our life? 11. Who in your life most needs to hear the good news about the redemption of scars? How can you help them? 12. Spend some time thanking God for your redemption and praying for those who need it.
