THE  SECRET  OF  PROVISION     Proverbs 11:25, NLT The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. God has generously provided for believers. In order to receive what He has already appropriated for us, we must understand, believe and practice His principals. Jesus has given us a step-by-step guide to prosperity in Mark chapter six, where he feeds five thousand men with five loaves of bread and two fish. What is most startling about this passage is the fact that before Jesus performed the miracle; He said to his disciples, “You give them something to eat” (Mark 6:37, NKJV). Jesus was not kidding. He had already given the disciples the authority to miraculously feed five thousand people and to bring deliverance in every situation. However, the disciples did not understand because their heart was hardened (Mark 6: 52, NKJV). In other words, they didn’t release faith to walk in their spiritual authority. In Christ’s mercy, He performed miracles (Mark 6), so that all of us can learn God’s supernatural principals of prosperity and consistent deliverance. Mark 6:34-44, NLT Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. Late in the afternoon his disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the nearby farms and villages and buy something to eat.” But Jesus said, “You feed them.” “With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!” “How much bread do you have?” he asked. “Go and find out.” They came back and reported, “We have five loaves of bread and two fish.” Then Jesus told the disciples to have the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of fifty or a hundred. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. He also divided the fish for everyone to share. They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftover bread and fish. A total of 5,000 men and their families were fed from those loaves! As we dissect this passage and the following passage regarding Jesus walking on the water (Mark 6:45-56), we can extract the following biblical secrets for provision.   GAIL  KING  MINISTRIES   P.O.  Box  146766,  Chicago,  IL  60614,  800-‐764-‐1026,  GailKing.com

15 Secrets Of Provision & Deliverance 1) ITS MIRACULOUS – Provision defies earthly principals and it defies arithmetic. It does not add up according to man’s logic. Laws of nature and physics do not bind God. 2) RADICAL FAITH IS REQUIRED – We must have faith in the Word of God and the power of God. We must never allow appearances to discourage us. The disciples did not understand because their hearts were hardened (Mark 6:52) by unbelief. 3) FEARLESSNESS IS A REQUIREMENT - Fear is a waste of our time and highlights our urgent need to use our spiritual authority. Fear may mean we’ve been distracted by appearances and our faith disarmed. Examples: epileptic boy (Matthew 17:14-20), the wind and the waves(Mark 6:45-56). 4) WE MUST THANK GOD, ASK FOR HIS BLESSING, BLESS WHAT WE HAVE, BLESS WHAT WE GIVE – We must acknowledge God by thanking Him for what we have and asking Him to bless it. The multiplication is in the blessing, (a supernatural force) which is released by faith. One way faith is released (and proved) is through thanksgiving. Prayer, praise, gratitude, speaking and confidant action encourages the flow of the blessing. We are the blessed seed of Abraham; the blessing is on our lives. Twelve baskets were left over (Mark 6:43). 5) NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE – All things are possible. We always have the ability to break lack. This power has been given to us. We provide for ourselves by providing for others. We take care of ourselves by taking care of others. We always have the power and resources to complete any assignment or task the Lord has given us. Examples: loaves and fishes (Mark 6), the wind and waves (Mark 6). 6) THERE IS NO LACK – We always have enough to share, to give away, to distribute to others in need, and to help others. 7) OUR GIFT MULTIPLIES – God supernaturally multiples what we have and makes sure that we finish with more than we started with. This gives Him glory! The fish and loaves kept replenishing themselves (Mark 6). 8) USE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY – Christ has given believers the power to do what He did and greater things. We have the power to speak to situations in the Name of Jesus. Examples: the centurion (Matthew 8:5), speak to demons (Mark 3:15), the wind and waves (Mark 6:45-56).   GAIL  KING  MINISTRIES   P.O.  Box  146766,  Chicago,  IL  60614,  800-‐764-‐1026,  GailKing.com

9) USE PRAYER & FASTING - Jesus reminded us that worshiping God (in humility) with prayer and fasting would disable any demon (Mark 9:29), no matter how powerful. We can always ask God in the Name of Jesus for anything and we will receive it (Mark 11:24). 10) LOVE IS OUR MOTIVE – Giving must be from a cheerful heart otherwise there is no FAITH in it. Giving must not be from compulsion (2 Corinthians 9:7). If it’s not done from LOVE, it profits you nothing (1 Corinthians 13:3). 11) WE CAN’T RUN OUT – Through our giving and serving, we cannot run out. 12) COUNT WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY – Count what you have and give from that by faith. We must be mindful and aware of what we have. Jesus asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” (Mark 6) 13) ADDRESS OTHER’S NEEDS - Address need, as best you can, from whatever you have. We can always ask God for wisdom in these matters. 14) GET ORGANIZED (PREPARED) TO RECEIVE – We must become organized in your expectation to receive, be blessed and to receive a miracle. Jesus directed them to have all the people sit in groups (Mark 6). 15) DELIVERANCE REQUIRES FAITH & PATIENCE – Deliverance requires tenacious faith – and patience. It requires that we focus on the Word and the power of God. Finally, we must use unrelenting spiritual authority. “It’s not what comes INTO the church that blesses it (financially), it what GOES OUT that blesses it!” – Bishop David Oyedepo Luke 6:38, NKJV ”Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Mark 11:22, NLT Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.”
