The Cuban band has mastered crowd favourite songs and will cater to a multitude of diverse music genres spanning across Rhumba, Afro-Cuban jazz, Salsa, Soukous as well as Spanish fusion genres. Music lovers and guests will be able to enjoy a truly unique and unforgettable music experience with La Noche de Doha every Wednesday to Saturday, from sunset until late, featuring a new Cuban band playing energetic Latino rhythms, while savouring Caribbean inspired snacks and hand-crafted beverages. The Cuban band currently comprises of world class musicians including vocalists Gerardo Contino and Jenny Sotolongo, keyboard player Axel Tosca, bassist Israel Cedano, who will be joined by Yusnier Bustamante on the Congo drums. Featuring a combination of lounge music, a beach side bar, authentic Cuban treats and refreshing drinks by the pool, La Noche de Doha is the place to be during the week as the sun goes down and the temperature at Oyster Bay rises. As an accomplished producer, Erik dedicates his time to creating unique rhythms and striking groove on every track that he works on, and since 2012 has been signed to Bob Sinclair’s Yellow Productions label where he has produced under the Africanism project. Last month, The Rooftop brought world-renowned DJ John Jacobsen who performed to a sellout crowd creating a fantastic and lively atmosphere. While The Rooftop will be offering house music every Thursday night, before mixing it up with retro night every Friday night.
