ENGAGE GLOBAL LONG-TERM MISSIONARY SUPPORT POLICY The Summit Church, through Engage Global, desires to recognize, train and commission those at TSC who God is identifying and calling out into a mission partnership. Missionaries qualify by meeting certain pre-requisites, completing an application process and becoming approved by the Engage Global Team. Pre-requisites for application include: o Attending Base Camp/Advance Camp and completing Summit membership o Regular involvement at TSC Sunday gatherings for at least two years. o Participation in an e-Group for at least one year. o Involvement and/or leadership in Engage Samaria Ministry opportunities for one year. o Involved in a mentoring relationship that involves discipleship of an individual or in a group context. o Participation in a Perspectives course o Participation in at least 2 of the 4 semesters of Summit Engage Global Training Classes o Identified by the Holy Spirit and the Engage Global Team as one being called into ministry in a cross-cultural context. When these pre-requisites are fulfilled, the application process can begin. This includes the following documents: 1. Engage Global Application #1 a. Engage Global Reference Forms 2. Engage Global Application #2 a. Care Team Form 3. Engage Global Moral Convictions Form Application Process: 1 2

Interested applicants complete Engage Global Application (EGA) #1 along with two Engage Global Reference Form After completion of EGA #1, applicants will have a meeting with Danny to go over application

3. If EGA #1 is approved, EGA #2 and Moral Convictions Questionnaire are given to be completed and a Care Team meeting will be scheduled with Engage Care Team Coordinator (ECTC). 4. A Summit Engage Global Team interview with applicant will be scheduled for final approval. 5. Presentation to TSC body on a Sunday. 6. Upon presentation to TSC Body, applicants may begin to raise support. Departure to ministry field will be approved by the Summit Engage Team in conjunction with the sending organization. A farewell reception will be organized and a commissioning will take place in a Sunday service.
