Tigers March 2018 Newsletter Dear Parents, February was a great month. The children had fun learning the color purple by finger painting, and enjoyed making bluebonnets and cacti for Go Texan Week. We celebrated God’s love for us by having a special Valentine’s Day snack. Thank you to all the parents who brought the food and drinks. The children had a great time working hard on the Original Artworks fundraiser. The children learned Jesus wants to be our friend forever. He loves us so much and wants us to spend time with him through prayer. March is a busy month. The children will be making lambs, planting grass seed, and enjoy special orange day. We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading one of his books and doing a fun themed project. Day One Christian Academy will be closed for Spring Break March 12 through March 16. We will be open for full-time students only. A sign-up sheet will be posted to indicate if your child will be present during Spring Break. Please join us on Friday, March 2 for our Dinner and Rodeo Program. The children will be singing songs they have learned in music class. Dinner will also be served. It will be a great program! We would like to remind you to please send extra clothes to school with your child. Also, since we are still having cool weather, please send a jacket or coat with your child for when we go to the playground. We are so blessed to have your child in our class. It is such a joy to see them learn new things every day. They have grown and matured so much since the beginning of school. As always, if you have any concerns or questions, feel free to talk to us.
