Connected Guests/TigerTMS and Ruckus Wireless The Solution IP Connect Cloud Service (IPCCS) is a comprehensive access management/billing gateway for hotels and other visitor-based Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi networks. It is differentiated via its unique Vanity SSID/PAN service which works with the Ruckus SmartZone controller to create Private Networks/SSIDs for specific users. When the person checks out, the SSID is removed automatically. This capability is useful in hotels and MDUs, and can be linked into systems such as a hotel loyalty program so a guest room can be deployed with that specific guest’s or groups private SSID as soon as they arrive on property. In addition, IPCCS provides for multi-tier internet services with user profile based; internet application based and content based upgrade possibilities. It is able to manage any type of user on-boarding in a Multi-site/ network configuration, including authentication via: PMS; Social Media; Self-registration; SMS-gateway; Credit Card (IPCCS is PCI compliant); 802.1x and Multi RADIUS (iPass; Paypal;). Once the user tries to connect to the Ruckus Wi-Fi, a flexible portal function allows for multi-site; multi-location; multi-lingual portal pages. Device profile based recognition allows for user auto-reconnecting and for user profile based Marketing messaging on a “Welcome back page”. Flexible marketing messaging integration and publication on portal pages, connection status pages and user recognition pages, provide additional potential revenue capabilities. Each site administrator is able to adjust any portal item without needing technical skills or knowledge of HTML and/or PHP. Automatically or manually consolidated and detailed usage reporting is also available. Connected Guests/TigerTMS’s IPCCS integrates with Ruckus SPoT LBS to provide user density reports and user or group location tracking, which it can further enhance with user demographic data or network usage information to provide valuable customer insight and targeted marketing capabilities. It has an open API to link into additional data sources such as a CRM or Loyalty Membership database. It can even log URLs to identify user interests or current needs.
