SUNDAY, JUNE 4, 2017

“CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS” Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne. Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own! Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee, and hail Him as thy matchless King, through all eternity. Crown Him the Lord of love! Behold His hands and side; Rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified. No angel in the sky, can fully bear that sight, but downward bends his wondering eye, at mysteries so bright. Crown Him the Lord of heav’n, one with the Father known; One with the Spirit through Him giv’n from yonder glorious throne. To Thee be endless praise, for Thou for us hast died; Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days adored and magnified.

“EVERLASTING ARMS” Are you sunk in depths of sorrow, where no arm can reach so low? There is One whose arms, almighty, reach beyond your deepest woe: God Eternal is your refuge; let Him still your wild alarms; Underneath your deepest sorrow are the everlasting arms. Underneath us, oh, how easy! We have not to mount on high, but to sink into His fullness, and in trustful weakness lie. And we find our humbling failures save us from the strength that harms; We may fall, but underneath us are the everlasting arms. Arms of Jesus, hold me closer; O Lord, hear my one request, May I know Your strength and power, and find everlasting rest. And when life’s last sands are sinking, shield my heart from all alarms; Softly whisp’ring, “Underneath you are the everlasting arms.”

“10,000 REASONS” (Chorus) Bless the Lord, O my soul; O my soul, worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul, I’ll worship Your holy name. The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning; It's time to sing Your song again. Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me, let me be singing when the ev'ning comes. (Chorus) Bless the Lord, O my soul; O my soul, worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul, I’ll worship Your holy name. You're rich in love and You're slow to anger, Your name is great and Your heart is kind. For all Your goodness I will keep on singing; Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find. (Chorus) Bless the Lord, O my soul; O my soul, worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul, I’ll worship Your holy name. And on that day when my strength is failing, the end draws near and my time has come; Still my soul sings Your praise unending, ten thousand years and then forever more. (Chorus) Bless the Lord, O my soul; O my soul, worship His holy name. Sing like never before, O my soul, I’ll worship Your holy name. I’ll worship Your holy name. Lord I’ll worship Your holy name.

“SEE THE MAN OF SORROWS NOW” Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with may crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. Once You were humbled, heavy thorns upon Your brow. Once You were broken till Your love came raining down. Despised and rejected by the ones You came to save, You cried, “It is finished!" and the darkness had its day. But oh, what a morning when the stone was rolled away. And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the man of sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. I will not fear now what Your grace has overcome. I will not tremble through a fight You’ve already won. I’ll lay down my burdens, and I’ll lift my hands in praise. I will look to You, Jesus, Name above all other names! And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! (Repeat) Where, O death, is your victory? Where O grave, is your sting? He’s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Savior, high and exalted, the King of heaven victorious, Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now! (Repeat) See the Man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now!

“IN CHRIST ALONE” In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my Light, my strength, my song. This Cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love! What depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My Comforter, my all in all; Here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone, who took on flesh; Fullness of God in helpless Babe. This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones He came to save; ‘Til on that cross as Jesus died the wrath of God was satisfied. For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live. There in the ground His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain. Then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, sin’s curse has lost its grip on me; For I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death: This is the pow’r of Christ in me. From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand, nor cause me harm til He returns; Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand. No pow’r of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck me from His hand, nor cause me harm til He returns; Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand. Here in the pow'r of Christ I'll stand.

“SHOW US CHRIST” Prepare our hearts, O God, help us to receive; Break the hard and stony ground, help our unbelief. Plant Your Word down deep in us, cause it to bear fruit; Open up our ears to hear, lead us in Your truth. (Chorus) Show us Christ, show us Christ; O God, reveal Your glory through the preaching of Your Word until every heart confesses Christ is Lord. Your Word is living light upon our darkened eyes; Guards us through temptations, makes the simple wise. Your Word is food for famished ones, freedom for the slave, riches for the needy soul; Come speak to us today. (Chorus) Show us Christ, show us Christ; O God, reveal Your glory through the preaching of Your Word until every heart confesses Christ is Lord.

INVITATION “THERE IS A REDEEMER” There is a Redeemer, Jesus, God’s own Son; Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One. (Chorus) Thank You, oh, my Father, for giving us Your Son, and leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done. Jesus my Redeemer, Name above all names, Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Hope for sinners slain. (Chorus) Thank You, oh, my Father, for giving us Your Son, And leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done. When I stand in Glory, I will see His face. There I’ll serve my King forever in that holy place. (Chorus) Thank You, oh, my Father, for giving us Your Son, And leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done.
