WE PRAY — This week we prayed over the Connection Card and Chapel prayers. We prayed for Upward Ministries. We also prayed for the upcoming Family Fest, that Immanuel will be a light of Christ to the community; safety for all, good weather and attendance. We prayed for the 4th and 5th grade Sunday School classes. We prayed for those working on relief efforts following hurricane Florence; for those who experienced flooding and other devastation, including Vicar John’s friend. We prayed for the health concerns of the following: Jim Kirk, Rich Ringel, Jean Dorn, Ed Meier, Adin Olsen, Hannah & Micah Krause, Chris Becker, Stephanie Lachel, Millie Cook, Greg Smith, Angela Strauss’ dad, John, and Jamie, friend of Jan. We lifted up Mark Tieman in prayer following his amputation surgery, may the healing begin and that this trial would be used as to testimony to God’s wisdom and glory. We prayed for Tim Geschke as he spends time in Australia. We continued thoughts and prayers for Ron Kaiser and family. We prayed for our country, leadership, president and armed forces.
