C ommu n i t y News & E v en t s ! BART G athering I nput on Pos s ible F are Changes BART is reviewing possible fare changes that would take effect in January 2018 due to a decline in both ridership (especially on the weekends) and sales tax revenues. Decreases in these key funding sources, which make up 85% of BART's operating revenues, significantly impacts funding for a system dealing with aging infrastructure and still carrying near capacity peak-period ridership. Due to possible fare changes, BART would greatly appreciate your feedback by having taking a survey. All findings and comments will be reported to the BART Board as part of their decision-making process. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 415-281-6919.
