In-House Cabling (Time/Materials) Township of Old Bridge is accepting Time & Material bids to install computer/phone/coax and other cabling within/around Municipal complex. All interested parties are STRONGLY encouraged to complete a site walkthrough to understand wiring challenges, location(s) of equipment, existing doors/frames and availability of electrical power. Please contact
[email protected] to schedule. Contract will be in effect for (1) year from date of contract signing. OB Township has the option to extend for additional years. All cable installations, per this contract, will be within the building. Cabling needs that are outside, underground etc. will be handled as a special project. Quotes may be rejected unless they specifically contain: 1. References from at least 2 businesses. Government references are preferred. 2. NJ Business Registration, approved by State of New Jersey. 3. Statement that labor will be performed by company employees, not sub-contracted. Bidders understand: - a cable “install” means the following: o material is: Cat5 or Coax and Plenum rated. o terminated on both ends into patch panel, wall plate or loose jack. o tested/verified o computer cables are appropriately routed in ceiling to avoid interference with ceiling lights and any hazards. o inside building (ceilings/walls). All underground cables, or fiber, will be handled on individual project basis. - where permits are required, fees are waived. - all related debris will be removed before close of business at install. - generally we request at least 5 cable installs at a time.
