Transformation Ministry Program Coordinator Job Description Reports To Executive Director Purpose Develop and manage a community of volunteers and participants in a weekly Transformation Ministry. The goal of Love INC’s Transformation Ministry is to use both relational and educational components in a small group environment to move clients toward greater stability. Responsibilities 1. Coordinate the location and manage the logistics for weekly class sessions. 2. Contact prospective clients for upcoming Transformation Ministry class sessions; provide class schedule, class topics, determine transportation/childcare needs. 3. Recruit volunteers. Conduct regular trainings and orientations. 4. Maintain accurate participant records (e.g. attendance, homework, incentives earned, etc.) 5. Develop evaluation tools and conduct regular evaluation to gain an understanding of the participant’s experience in the program including reaction and feelings, learning, skills and effectiveness. 6. Coordinate weekly program meals for participants and volunteers (Take-Them-AMeal) 7. Identify client unmet needs and interests, and maintain a list for use in determining new program offerings. 8. Support and contribute to the mission and goals of the Transformation Committee. 9. Participate and contribute to an annual board planning retreat. Qualifications 1. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the Apostles’ Creed. 2. Discernment, non-judgmental attitude and the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others. 3. Healthy, professional boundaries. 4. Good communication skills. 5. Ability to work independently and cooperatively. 6. Dependable. 7. Holistic based approach and Culture of Poverty experience or training.
