Water 4 Life Did you know? 1.8 billion people (1 out of every 4) drink contaminated water in the world? Our Sunday School students do and they decided to do something about it! This fall, the students set and reached their goal of $5,000 to purchase two wells through the ELCA Walk for Water Project! They kicked off the project in September with a Water Walk. The students got a hands on experience by carrying milk jugs full of water! Along the way they learned facts about water and encountered obstacles that people might experience while walking (fetching, collecting) for water. During the project, they also had the opportunity to play with an interactive water board by Education Station. Plus, Pastor Michael and Luther promised to do a dunking booth if they reached their goal! Stop by education station today during Sunday School hours to watch Pastor Michael and Luther get drenched! From this project as many as 1,000 families will gain access to clean safe water! What a blessing!

Stay tuned for updates on the Sunday School Spring

Mission Project focused on Matt Talbot called Homes with Heart. They will be raising funds to purchase all the comforts of home for families in our community who are homeless. They are hoping to raise $5,000!

Genuine listening has become a rare gift—the gift of time. It helps build relationships, solve problems, ensure understanding, resolve conflicts, and improve accuracy. At work, effective listening means fewer errors and less wasted time. At home, it helps develop resourceful, self-reliant kids who can solve their own problems. Listening builds friendships and careers. It saves money and marriages. Try these tips for effective listening:
