UK Regional Account Manager Navitas UK Permanent – Full Time Navitas, an ASX listed organisation, is a large and diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, language training, workforce education and student recruitment.

This role forms an integral part of the Navitas UK Recruitment Team and will be based in the UK and require travel throughout the UK. The position reports to the UK General Manager – Sales and Marketing, and will work closely with the UK University Pathway Programs Navitas divisions, in particular College Director Principals, Directors of Marketing and Admissions and their teams. The overall objective of the position is to play an integral role in UK based student recruitment and conversion of prospective students, agent management, market development, market diversification and sales growth. The incumbent may also be asked to conduct market research and competitor analysis projects. Essential Criteria:



Possess a Bachelor’s/tertiary degree level qualification and/or significant marketing experience. Demonstrate effective account management experience.



Demonstrate high-level interpersonal communication and negotiation skills inclusive of writing,



communication and presentation skills. 

Demonstrate a proven ability as a team player.



Demonstrate proven ability to organise own workload and cope with simultaneous demands.



Demonstrate a flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities.



Demonstrate a proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies and sales tactics, which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth.



Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for new recruitment initiatives.



Demonstrate a commitment to self-development to enhance skills and abilities.



Have the ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities, on their own initiative and to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.



Be self-motivated and good organiser.



Have extensive knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office software applications

Purpose of Position This role forms an integral part of the Navitas UK Recruitment Team and will be based in the UK and require travel throughout the UK. The position reports to the UK General Manager – Sales and Marketing, and will work closely with the UK University Pathway Programs Navitas divisions, in particular College Director Principals, Directors of Marketing and Admissions and their teams. The UK Regional Account Manager will be responsible and accountable for the recruitment of UK based students (Home/EU/Non-EU), on behalf of the following business units, plus additional business units that may be added to the Navitas UK portfolio:          

The overall objective of the position is to play an integral role in UK based student recruitment and conversion of prospective students, agent management, market development, market diversification and sales growth. Key duties and responsibilities will include:    



   

Account Management of the existing UK based agents. Development of new agent relationships. Working with the UK colleges to extract an appropriate value proposition for each college. Ensuring that all agents are trained appropriately and are in in possession of an appropriate sales tool kit to effectively sell all of the Navitas colleges. Assisting the colleges, and the UK General Manager – Sales and Marketing, in the setting of appropriate targets for the UK on-shore market. Attending recruitment fairs as appropriate. Negotiating and agreeing on annual marketing and recruitment plans with UK colleges. Negotiating and agreeing on annual marketing and recruitment plans with UK based agents. Developing, along with the UK General Manager – Sales and Marketing, a consolidated, consistent approach to targeting the UK on-shore market.

Additional duties and responsibilities may also include: 



Detailed competitor analysis (specifically UK based pathway providers such as; INTO, Kaplan, Study Group and CEG. The development and execution of eMarketing and Social Media campaigns, directly or in conjunction with agents, targeting on-shore students.

Key Relationships      

UK General Manager – Sales and Marketing. UK College Director Principals. UK Directors of Marketing and Admissions. Navitas UK business unit marketing staff with on-shore recruitment responsibility. Executive General Manager UK (UPD). Executive General Manager – Marketing and Sales (UPD).

Key Result Areas Business Development  Thorough market research activities to identify demand for Navitas products across the UK.  Assist in the development and/or improvement of Navitas products and services.  Assessment of new and existing stakeholders (agents, sponsoring institutions etc.) within the UK. Sales  

Participate in sales activities including promotion of the Navitas UK products and services to agents, sponsorship bodies and potential students/candidates. Actively seek to attract and convert prospective students (including those holding an offer for UK colleges) with assistance from colleges where required. Various enquiry management and conversion activities, alongside the college based marketing staff where appropriate.

Marketing  

Develop an appropriate UK marketing strategy and manage implementation. Provide monthly reports on all aspects of marketing activity, including student recruitment targets, promotional activities, expenditure, competitor activity, market trends and issues.

Systems 

Make full use of Navitas IT systems and CRM.

Financial   

Assist to prepare budgets and forecasts. Seek opportunities to reduce college based marketing spend. Day-to-day management of the role’s budget.

General  

Provide administrative and logistical support when required. Work with designers, printers and others to develop promotional materials where required.
