USER GUIDE GENERAL INFORMATION Please read all tips and warnings before using your CritterZone. Use only as directed within this User Guide. CritterZone is designed to run continuously with an energy consumption level equal to a hamster in a wheel (about 3-watts). Allow the CritterZone to remain plugged in 24-hours/day for optimal air quality. Keep all tails, fingers, fur, hair and clothing away from opening when unit is operational. To increase the effectiveness and clean the air up to 800 sq. ft, CritterZones have a small, quiet fan. Very little bark, with a lot of cleaning bite! But if the sound is a concern, simply move the unit to an outlet farther away, to another room or to a hallway. ‘sniff sniff...’ CritterZone Air Naturalizers emit a light “metallic” odor. This is a natural reaction from the air naturalization process. The strength of the scent will vary based on the current level of pollutants in the air and will lessen as the air is cleaned. The settings on the CritterZone are adjustable as needed and are explained below.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION Plug in your CritterZone. Use a grounded outlet. Wall units should be plugged directly into a wall outlet. Corded units should be placed on a dry and level surface. Leave a safe amount of slack in the 10’ cord. Keep out of reach of curious pets. Choose a setting. Start your CritterZone in the LOW position (far right) and remain at LOW for 24-hours. If the size of your area or level of pollutants in your air require additional naturalization, increase to the next level, allowing 24-hours between adjustments. Smaller areas or air quality maintenance, LOW (far right) or MED (middle) will be sufficient. For larger areas, spot treatments or areas with dense air pollution, set the unit to HIGH (far left).

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT: Your CritterZone product carries a 1-Year manufacturer’s warranty. To maintain this warranty, it is necessary to perform regular cleaning and maintenance on the interior and exterior of the unit. NOTE: If the inside is not cleaned regularly, buildup may occur and cause your CritterZone to stop working. Interior: View the cleaning instructional YouTube video that appears on our website. You can find it, as well as a printable cleaning guide, under the blue tab “Tips, Tricks and More Uses” and then “Cleaning Your CritterZone.” Exterior: Please make sure the rear airflow vent on the unit is free from hair or debris. Simply brush it away from the vent with your finger. The front grillwork also must be kept clean: Unplug the unit and run a cotton swab between the air vents to remove any debris. You may notice buildup from aerosolized chemicals or Volatile Organic Compounds that have been neutralized from the air. * Cat and small animal owners WILL experience white crystals, which is a direct result of airborne urine being neutralized by the CritterZone.

TIPS AND USES CLEANING SPILLS & ACCIDENTS IN MATERIALS CritterZone is very effective in helping remove odor and germs within materials. Works great on upholstery, carpet, mattresses, clothing, shoes and hard soluable surfaces such as wood-- and in vehicles, too! (with car adapter on corded units) Simply lay the CritterZone unit face-down directly on or keep within 6” of the soiled area and leave for 30-60 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times or as necessary depending on the degree and type of the accident. Accident “Reactivation” For old spills or accidents, “Reactivate” the incident by lightly misting the area directly with water. ELECTRICAL AND OPERATIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Do not use in or around water or water sources. Use dry hands when operating the unit. Always unplug the unit before servicing, cleaning, or when using spray or steam floor cleaners. CritterZone units have of moving and electrical parts, much of which are contained within the outer casing. The casing can carefully be removed for detailed cleaning ONLY when unplugged. NEVER attempt to retrieve a loose or broken part from the unit when it is plugged in, or from the outlet itself. (Corded Units) Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the unit. If cord or plug appears damaged, return the unit immediately for exchange or repair. Do not pull, carry or lift unit by power cord. Securely grasp the plug at the base when unplugging from outlet. (Wall Units) Wall units are designed to plug into wall outlets. Do not plug wall unit into a power strip or surge protector. When “reactivating” a soiled area, spray the water directly on the fabric before plugging in the CritterZone. Do not spray water on or at the unit or the outlet. (see TIPS for more info on “reactivating”)

Use on a level surface at least 6” away from heat sources such as ranges, fireplaces or heaters. Use indoors only. Do not block air vent openings. TIP: Air circulation helps! Use near an oscillating or ceiling fan. TIP: Moisture helps! CritterZone technology utilizes air moisture during the Air Naturalization process. Humidifiers can help!
