MISSION: Our purpose is to enhance the worship experience through the use of visuals. ACTIVITIES AND CONTACTS:  

This Ministry was introduced in 2004 and has evolved from using it as a part of our contemporary service to being used for almost all worship services. Power Point is currently the only software used at this time, and it is used to show the same words as found in the bulletin. Visual graphics and videos are often added to reinforce a point, show events, or help enhance the worship experience. A projectionist usually only has to project once a month The volunteer selects the service (6:30 pm, 8:00 am, or 10:45 a.m.) that he/she wants to support Projectionists are not required to create the service. The Power Point presentation will already be developed and ready for the service when you arrive 15 minutes prior to the church service. Training is provided to projectionists so that they are comfortable with the process of projecting. For a normal church service, the projectionist will turn on the computer, open the Power Point presentation, and click through the project as they follow along with the service. Supporting the church service as a projectionist doesn’t require any extra volunteer time outside of your normal worship experience (except a few hours for initial training). You merely sit in a different place when you worship. Spouses and family are welcome to sit with the projectionist
