VERMILION SPECIAL EVENTS Vermilion is a gorgeous bi level restaurant that opened in 2008, featuring several event spaces, a 30 foot rain curtain, and a wrap around patio. Vermilion is the ideal venue for intimate dinner parties, corporate, non-profit and other social events or weddings. The space is capable of hosting simultaneous events of 10-600 people, across 5 event spaces our use the entire restaurant for a 1000 person reception. The restaurant is conveniently located in Midtown, just steps from Grand Central and features an incredible global-fusion inspired menu in a unique, bold and sophisticated ambiance featuring Indian-Latin fusion. Vermilion’s culinary team is happy to customize menus to accommodate any requests you may have from Contemporary American to Classic Italian. PRIVATE DINING ROOM Located off of the main dining room, enter the private dining room though large glass doors into the stylish and sexy space which overlooks 46th st through floor to ceiling windows. A large mirror reflects the NYC view giving the feel of a more expansive space. Maximum Seating: 24 guests seated at one table 36 guests seated at separate tables 45 guests for a standing reception

MEZZANINE Overlooking Lexington Avenue, The Mezzanine has an open feel whose reflective ceiling has the lights of the city dancing across it. This space is very versatile as it can be arranged to fit a corporate dinner, cocktail reception or wedding ceremony. Maximum Seating: 100 guests seated 150 guests for a standing reception

MAIN DINING ROOM The Main Dining Room’s open and spacious area is decorated with beautiful photography and overlooks the hustle and bustle of 46th st. Dark wood floors and clean white lines create an elegant and stylized space for any event. Maximum Seating: 210 guests seated 350 guests for a standing reception

LOUNGE The elegant, contemporary Lounge is bordered by two patios and features a 30-foot rain curtain and decorated with artwork by Farrokh Chothia. The space is very flexible and may be divided for smaller receptions. Maximum Seating: 70 guests seated 200 guests for a standing reception

Additional Information:  There are seasonal food & beverage minimums and possible rental fees for each space.  Customized printed menus will be provided.  Limited Audiovisual Equipment is available for rental.  Kosher available from an off-premise Glatt caterer.

Payment A 50% deposit and signed contract is required to reserve a space. The balance is due the day of event. An additional 22% Service and Event Charge, 8.875% New York Sales Tax will be applied to all applicable goods & services.

Rohini created and developed the Vermilion indian-latin concept and cuisine. Since inception, Vermilion has been acclaimed as “Best New Restaurant” by Chicago Magazine, Travel & Leisure, Town & Country, USA Today, Bon Appetit, among others. As a woman restaurateur, still a rarity in this industry, Rohini is a staunch supporter of women in business and the mentorship and education of girls on a global level. She founded the Vermilion James Beard Foundation Women in Culinary Leadership Scholarship (WICL) to create women leaders in the dining industry, backed by a roster of ten celebrity chefs (CFW) “Chefs for Women.” She founded her own non-profit MSEdG-Educate Girls Globally to which all her writing proceeds go. She is also a senior donor and engaged with the American India Foundation (AIF). Dey is an active member of The Chicago Network (TCN), International Women’s Forum (IWF), the Women’s Forum of New York (WF), and 85 Broads. She actively hosts and has served as a keynote speaker for a multitude of business conferences and lifestyle events across innovation, culinary, entrepreneurship, and women in business.
