Pitsco Human Resources Department Job Announcement Job Title: Video Coordinator Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager Department: Marketing/Video Wage: Depending on Experience Summary: This position is responsible for helping tell the Pitsco story – of the company, educators, and students – through video, audio, and animation. Technical prowess, solid organizational and planning skills, and superb creativity with experience in all facets of video production are necessary. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): • Competently and confidently operating cameras, sound equipment, and other devices • Assisting in the setup of lighting, sets, and other preproduction needs • Assisting in the tearing down of any special rigging, lighting, sets, or other postproduction needs • Working with team members to establish, follow, enforce, and update project standards that align with business look and feel • Leading brainstorming, ideation, and execution of creative process for video and audio projects including: o Planning, coordinating, and executing on- and off-site video shoots and any necessary talent as needed o Producing and editing videos, audio, and animations that reflect the quality of Pitsco products, activities, curriculum, and solutions for the purpose of instruction, marketing, and special initiatives or campaigns and occasional external partner or contracted work • Assisting in the planning and coordination of video project schedules with Marketing, Curriculum, and other staff to meet Pitsco business needs and/or external partner or contracted work, including providing technical knowledge and time estimations o Overseeing daily project allocation, prioritization, and communication to project stakeholders, including helping Videographer with daily tasks • Advising interested internal customers and partners on options available and providing cost estimations • Assisting in the ordering of video equipment and supplies within budgetary priorities • Caring for and maintaining equipment, studio spaces, and other supplies Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, communications, marketing, or related degree with demonstrated experience OR bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of industry experience • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, including the capacity to prioritize projects for self and others • Knowledge of industry trends and commitment to stay current on trends and techniques • Depth of technical knowledge in graphic design software and video-related software/systems, including the Adobe Suite • Proven ideation and execution of content creation, audio, filming, lighting, direction, production, nonlinear editing, and animations • Personal leadership and professional skills including communication, flexibility, and a positive attitude • Excellent computer and equipment skills and the drive to learn new technologies • Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail • Desire to work on a team on multifaceted projects and initiatives • Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of studio design, multimedia equipment, and configuration of sets, lighting, and props preferred • Ability to work well with other individuals in a quick-paced environment • Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
