Hospitality/Receptionist Community Center Pastoral Coordinator Non-Exempt, Part-time (15-25 hours weekly) Mercy and Justice

Job Responsibilities:  Be welcoming to all who enter the Community Center.  Greet all warmly, with respect and dignity; be both responsive and motivated to meet their needs.  Assist class leaders/teachers as needed.  Answer telephones promptly and courteously.  Keep work and break areas neat and clean at all times.  Ensure that the Kiosk is stocked with copies of the current Program and the Mix, as well as other information to be passed along to the public.  Monitor all persons entering the Community Center.  Monitor Security Cameras periodically to ensure that all is as it should be.  Keep records of attendance by counting all class participants, teachers and guests. Post and total results to the Daily Attendance /Activity Schedule.  Assist with the preparation of class registrations. Issue receipts for payments/fees and process them on a timely basis.  Invite all to attend Church Services at the weekend.  Be willing to assist VECC and other VCC Staff as needed. Job Requirements:  Must enjoy meeting and working with people, especially children.  Possess excellent communication skills.  Ability to coordinate with both internal and external resources to meet the needs of all seeking assistance.  Be able to multi-task in a very busy/active work environment.  A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position.  Member of the Vineyard Church of Columbus.  Faithful compliance with the Staff Covenant.  High School Diploma required. Desired Qualifications and Skills:  Bilingual
