SONG LYRICS He Hides My Soul

All Creatures of Our God and King

A wonderful savior is Jesus my Lord A wonderful savior to me He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock Where rivers of pleasure I see

All creatures of our God and king Lift up your voices and with us sing Oh Praise Him! Alleluia! Thou burning with golden beam Thou silver moon with softer gleam Oh Praise Him! Oh Praise Him! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock That shadows a dry and thirsty land He hides my life in the depths of His love And covers me there with His hand, Oh He covers me there with His hand A wonderful savior is Jesus my Lord He takes all my burdens away He lifts me up and I shall not be moved Strength He will give as the day He is wonderful in all of His ways He is glorious, outshining the day He is mighty and mighty to save He is the Lord

After Sermon

When clothed in His brightness transported I’ll rise To meet Him in clouds of the sky I’ll sing of His goodness. “Oh glory to God!” I’ll shout with the millions on high

Let all things their Creator bless And worship him in humbleness Oh Praise Him! Alleluia! Let every nation, tribe, and tongue Gather as one around His throne Oh to praise Him! Oh to praise Him! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia! All ye redeemed washed by His blood Come and rejoice in His great love Oh Praise Him! Alleluia! Christ has defeated every sin Cast all your burdens now on Him Come and praise Him! Come and praise Him! Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

We Are the Body

The Lion and the Lamb

We are the body of the most High We are the bride of a Savior And we fall for the king of the kingdom As we sing the songs of salvation

He is coming on the clouds Kings and kingdoms will bow down And every chain will break As broken hearts declare His praise For who can stop the LORD Almighty?

And we stand for those Who cannot stand for themselves And we love the loveless And we go where Your light’s not shining We are the body of Christ We shine like a city on a hilltop We boast in the Spirit living in us And we march on a road leading to freedom As we reach out our hands to the fallen And we bring living water to the thirsty And we live for the One who was and is and is to come So our lives count for something greater than ourselves We are the body of Christ And our anthem will be a song of praise to the King He is worthy, He is worthy With one voice we will sing Where, oh death, is your sting? He is mighty, He is mighty

Our God is the Lion, the Lion of Judah He’s roaring with power, and fighting our battles And every knee will bow before You Our God is the Lamb, the Lamb that was slain For the sin of the world His blood breaks the chains And every knee will bow Before the Lion and the Lamb So open up the gates Make way before the King of kings Our God who comes to save Is here to set the captives free For who can stop the LORD Almighty? Who can stop the LORD Almighty

Are We Responsible For Society? Daniel 9:2-10 2 I,

Daniel, perceived in the books the number of years that, according to the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass before the end of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years. 3 Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and pleas for mercy with fasting and sackcloth and ashes. 4 I prayed to the LORD my God and made confession, saying, "O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. To you, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those who are near and those who are far away, in all the lands to which you have driven them, because of the treachery that they have committed against you. 8 To us, O LORD, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him 10 and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. 7

Romans 5:17-19 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. 17

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 18

For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. 19
