Christmas Offering Success—and Next Steps! We hit and exceeded our $15K goal! We are so excited about how this money will grow God’s kingdom in San Diego! David's Harp Foundation & Servant Church serve Black and Hispanic communities in San Diego. Harbor City Counseling will help our church family to get Christ-centered counseling. AND our Care and Mercy Funds are fully funded! Thank you for your gifts to our Christmas Offering. We want to do more than give money in our relationship with David’s Harp and Servant Church. Jesus is calling us as a church to help bring racial reconciliation in our city. In addition to giving these funds, we are planning some exciting bridge-building events. Stay tuned!

SONG LYRICS You Came (Lazarus)

Psalm 28

You stood outside my grave With tears still on Your face I heard You say my name My night was turned to day

To You Oh Lord I call, my rock Be not deaf to me, but hear my cry for mercy For when I cry to You I lift my hands to Your holy refuge With nothing more to say, my soul proclaim, You reign

You came I knew that You would come You sang My heart it woke up I'm not afraid I see Your face I am alive You came I knew that You would come You said death's only sleeping With one word my heart was beating I rose up from my grave My fear was turned to faith You are a miracle-working God You are a miracle-working God You are a miracle-working God

My strength and shield, I will trust in You, the Holy One A kingdom of hope, You are God So my heart will sing a song of thanks to You for all You are Great Is the Lord Who, oh Lord, could stand before You All Your enemies will tremble at Your power For You will not be passive, You will fight for what is Yours Til every knee will bow, and tongue proclaim, You reign Good Shepherd You carry Your people forever--

Be Still My Soul

Break Every Chain

Be still my soul the Lord is on thy side Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain Leave to thy God to order and provide In ev’ry change He faithful will remain Be still my soul thy best thy heav’nly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end

There is power in the name of Jesus There is power in the name of Jesus There is power in the name of Jesus To break every chain Break every chain break every chain

Be still my soul thy God doth undertake To guide the future as He has the past Thy hope thy confidence let nothing shake All now mysterious shall be bright at last Be still my soul the waves and winds still know His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below Be still my soul the hour is hast'ning on When we shall be forever with the Lord When disappointment grief and fear are gone Sorrow forgot love's purest joys restored Be still my soul when change and tears are past All safe and blessed we shall meet at last

All sufficient sacrifice So freely given such a price Bought our redemption Heaven's gates Swing wide There's an army rising up There's an army rising up There's an army rising up To break every chain Break every chain break every chain

God Did What We Couldn’t! Romans 8:2-3 1

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

2

For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh. 3
