Lake Reidsville offers more than 750 acres of action-packed fun, from camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, picnicking and more. The newest feature at Lake Reidsville is a championship quality disc golf course, which is the first of its kind in Rockingham County. The county's 17 public parks offer a variety of activities for the whole family from playgrounds, walking trails, tennis courts, championship baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, volleyball courts, paddle boating and picnic/event facilities. Located in the former stables of Chinqua-Penn Plantation, the market offers the best mix of heritage, scenic landscape and top-quality, farm-fresh produce, herbs and specialty foods. The market is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April to November. Downtown Reidsville also hosts the Downtown Farmer’s Market in the Settle Street parking lot from May until November.
