How it works The process is easy. Using the webbased program management tool, Fleet Commander® Online, fleet managers can establish desired spending parameters when setting

up authorization limits. For example, a driver provided with a limit of $75 per day for fuel expenses would have the following experience:

Daily limit of $75 for fuel purchases • Purchases $49 in fuel at 10 a.m. • Refills tank at 6 p.m. the same day and the pump shuts off automatically at $26, even though the tank is not full

$49 + $26 = $75

This process helps fleet managers to more effectively manage expenses because everything is automated. The limits can be fixed for the entire fleet or tailored to individual driver’s needs based on their routes or purchasing profiles.
