w Unhindered, Lesson 3 – Racial Reconciliation What is one thing that you’ve put into practice from last weeks sermon or small group discussion? From this weeks sermon: What were some prejudices in the home, school, or community where you grew up? Describe a time when you treated someone, or observed someone, being treated with prejudice. Why is racial reconciliation at the very heart of the Gospel? Read: Galatians 3:26-28 & Ephesians 2 According to the Galatians passage, what unites us? What differences are highlighted in Galatians 3:28? What happens to the differences in Galatians 3:28 What were all followers of Christ made to do according to Ephesians 2:10? In verses 14 – 17, Jesus Christ is described as our peace. What does each verse mention that was once separated, but now brought to peace? v. 14 v. 15 v. 16 v.17 Who has modeled reconciliation for us? What steps must you take in order to bring peace between those of different ethnic groups? As a follower of Jesus, how can this be done? As a follower of Jesus, what are the obstacles that still stand in the way for you to bring peace? What are practical steps you can take this week to model reconciliation?
