warehouse & logistics industry

Expertly building the foundations for successful storage and distribution facilities

Your construction partner… Chalcroft understands the critical requirements of the logistics and warehousing sector and how the construction and design of your building can affect your business. With over 30 years’ experience working closely with distribution companies throughout the UK, we handle a wide range of projects, from simple refurbishment to multi-million pound new builds. Our portfolio includes construction of chill and cold-stores; conversion of buildings into whitewalled, temperature controlled production facilities; and fit out of distribution facilities with offices, amenities and landscaping. We endorse “construction built on teamwork” and involving us at an early stage enables us to work closely with your project management teams to evaluate energy efficiency, pallet storage and retrieval, providing high-care environments and working within a live site to ensure minimum disruption to production. Our highly experienced site teams work closely with our clients and specialist sub-contractors to make sure that projects are completed within the agreed programme and to the highest standards.

Our excellent health and safety record is recognised in our consecutive gold awards from RoSPA for Occupational Health & Safety and our accreditation to BSI OHSAS 18001, which is testament to our robust safety management system. The majority of our projects come through recommendation from satisfied clients who appreciate that we are competitive on price, whilst adding value and an experienced understanding. It is our mission to become the construction partner of choice by exceeding our clients’ expectations.
