Watertown Public Library Food and Beverage Policy The Watertown Public Library strives to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patrons. To ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all, the following guidelines have been established. Beverages: Non-alcoholic drinks only. Beverages must be in a container having a lid or cap designed to minimize spillage. Library staff will have final approval over beverage containers permitted in the Library and reserve the right to exclude any container for any reason. Patrons in violation of this policy will be required to dispose of their drink item or leave the building. Beverages are not allowed near computers or other library electronic equipment. Please inform library staff of an accidental spill. Be considerate of others and clean up after yourself. Food: Library staff will have final approval over food items permitted in the Library and reserve the right to exclude any food item for any reason. Food is allowed in the meeting rooms. Food is allowed in the library during special events or programs sponsored by the Library.
