Prayer Guide | Week 1 Praise be to you, LORD, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:9-13

Elder/Deacon Courage and strength for the elders as they meet to listen to God’s voice.  Pray “so that their work will be a joy, not a burden” (Heb. 13:17).  Wisdom for the elders as they pray for God’s direction.  Wisdom as we address the congregations’ questions.  Praise for the stories that are being told how congregants are readdressing their pledge amount.  Absolute unity on what God is telling elders Phase2 should look like.  Strength and wisdom for Tom as he coordinates Grace Beyond.  For wisdom for Lisa and the communications team as they tell the Grace Beyond story.

Praise: Grace Beyond phase 1 logistics plans are nearly complete, with only some minor ministry disruptions. Pray for John Zimmerman during our Grace Beyond transition. For strength and discernment as he develops the logistic plan. Praise for blessing Children's Ministry staff when several other ministries offered assistance last week. Pray current Children Ministry volunteers be willing to serve twice a month and that God sends more to fill the gaps with the exact number needed. Children Ministry staff as they continue to write summer curriculum on Ten Commandments and pray through fall curriculum, that it is set apart by Christ to shape hearts of children, volunteers, staff. That open Children's staff positions be filled with those that love Christ foremost and serve out of a heart overflowing with passion for His Kingdom.

Safety for the fellowship activities this week: 5th/6h grade, Men and Women's Golf, OASIS Mystery Trip. Begin praying that all the activities in our completed facility be attractive outreaches for all those God brings here. The Calvary Community team as we go forward with new plans for Grace Beyond – that we will be able to re-group and bring all our leaders into a unified field! All the details of Grace Beyond and that everyone would continue to be flexible in where and when they are meeting and view this as God’s journey for His Glory! Praise Jehovah Rapha for the Long-Term Illness Support Group meeting this week. Ask rest in His arms for those attending. For wisdom for the Shanks as they begin their ministry in Arizona. Pray that we will continue to be used by God to raise up families and individuals to go out. Pray for our missionaries around the world. 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World during their Ramadan begins Thursday. Pray God raises up adults and children in our church to pray through those guides.

General Grace Beyond 

Ask for intimacy with God in the Prayer Garden, to become a catalyst for change both within Calvary and our community: how we pray, how we listen to God, how we praise God, how we seek God for who he is, not just for what he does. How we pray scripture. Exalt YAHWEH for the blessing of over $14.6 million and for those who in obedience have sacrificially given to Grace Beyond. Praise for our current facility.

Verse of the Week: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

There are a number of important meetings about the Grace Beyond project over the next few weeks. For architect Doug Pasma as he continues to work on the construction drawings. For Denny Bergakker and the building committee as they work. That many would participate in 40 Days – A Community that Prays, June 15-July 26 and be blessed as they pray for Calvary Church. For grace for our congregation as we move into Grace Beyond Phase 1 and begin to realize some of the inherent ministry challenges associated with that. Praise for the recently approved new members. Pray for those God is even now planning to bring to our new facility. Pray for strength for leaders and committees. May we all continue to trust in God as our source of true strength.
