Meet in the volunteer room for prayers and announcements. 15 minutes before the service: ROOMS OPEN 5 minutes before the hour: CLEAN-UP On the hour: ANNOUNCEMENTS 5 minutes after the hour: LARGE GROUP 40 minutes after the hour: VIDEO & BIBLE VERSE 50 minutes after the hour: SMALL GROUPS

PRAYER: Ask kids if anyone has a prayer request. Pray for your group together. BIBLE VERSE: Practice the Bible verses (see Bible Verse card) and reward with two coins for each verse the kids say. PLEASE, READ THE STORY SUMMARY: Ask the discussion questions and reward their answers with coins. ACTIVITY TIME: Complete the Bible Verse PRAY AND DISMISS: Words have the power to hurt or to heal. God has given us a way to communicate with others using words, but He wants us to use those words to help and encourage, not to tear down and destroy. There are going to be times in life when you’re tempted to hurt people with your words, but you need to make the wise choice. Stop and think. Choose your words carefully. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to help us! Pray and ask God for help. You know, let’s do that right now and ask God for help. PRAY: God, thank You for reminding us of the power of our words. We know the words we choose can hurt or they can heal. Help us to treat others the way we want to be treated. Help us to choose our words carefully so that we help and encourage the people around us with the words we say. We love You, and we ask these things in Jesus’ name, amen.”
