PRAYER: Ask kids if anyone has a prayer request. Pray for your group together. BIBLE VERSE: Practice the Bible verses (see Bible Verse card) and reward with two coins for each verse the kids say. PLEASE, READ THE STORY SUMMARY: Ask the discussion questions and reward their answers with coins. ACTIVITY TIME: Believe Door Hangers PRAY AND DISMISS: “Wow! I just love hearing about the shepherds and how they told EVERYONE about Jesus. The angel promised that the Savior would be born in Bethlehem. And then they found baby Jesus exactly where the angel promised He would be! They were so excited because they knew for sure that He really was the Savior. He was born to save the world. Let’s PRAY: “Dear God, thank You for the example of the shepherds at Bethlehem. It’s amazing to think that You sent angels to tell them the good news before anyone else, and then they got to see Mary, Joseph, and Jesus! Help us to remember to do what they did and share the good news about Jesus. It really is the BEST news ever. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name, amen.”
