Time to Sign Up for Explorers’ Class. The next Explorers’ Class will begin Wednesday, October 18, at 6:30 during WOW. Mark your attendance on today’s Connect Card, sign up at the Welcome Center or RSVP to Pastor Michael at [email protected]. The Explorers’ Class is your gateway to membership at Westkirk Presbyterian Church. Pastor Michael leads the class and it is a great opportunity to get to know him better, meet other Westkirk attendees and find out more about the church. It is a no-obligation experience as you will be given plenty of time after the 4 classes conclude to determine if you would like to join in membership. If you cannot attend all the sessions, please let Pastor Michael know and he will make alternative arrangements for you. We look forward to seeing you there! Pedals for Pastors - Update. Thank you to all who supported the Pedals for Pastors fundraiser by joining us for the Pedals for Pastors Ride on Saturday, August 26, and by giving to this cause! We are so thrilled to announce that by your efforts we were able to raise enough money to purchase 25 Bikes (at $100/bike) for pastors in Bangladesh!! We joyfully gave these funds to Advancing Native Missions in order that they might purchase these bikes as Gospel tools and place them in the hands of indigenous ministers to use for God’s glory! Praise God! Westkirk Directory Update. It’s time to update the directory. If you have an address change or want to update your photo, contact Chuck Holcomb ([email protected] or 515-208-0210). He will be available today after both services for pictures. The directory is for all regular attenders and members.

Sermon Notes for Kids are available at the Welcome Center! Kids of any age can complete them during the sermon, and can show them to Mrs. Duff after the service to receive a small reward for their hard work!

OK200 - Lighthouse Nepal. On Sunday, October 1, at 6:00 p.m. OK200 will present an exciting opportunity to meet the founder of Lighthouse Nepal. This group is committed to providing a future for trafficked women and children from the “untouchable” Badi caste. You will also have an opportunity to meet Hannah who escaped a life destined for trafficking in Nepal. Please join us in the Great Hall for a light dinner and great fellowship. If you have questions, please contact Rocky Vest ([email protected] or 515-991-6777).
