1. Monthly Calendar

We are now offering a monthly calendar that includes all classes and events with their start times. You can put it on your refrigerator, bulletin board, or wherever you want to remind you about all the great ways to get involved here at FBCScottsdale. There are copies at Welcome Central or you can download a PDF from our website at fbcscottsdale.org.

Our church is a living organism that has a role in the kingdom that only our church can fulfill. We have our strengths and weaknesses, we have our own personality, character, and quirks and we are passionate about using our church’s story to change the world’s story.

If you’re interested in getting to know our story a little better, head over to the STORYBOARD in the lobby where you can read community stories and have the opportunity to share your own.

3. summer internship applications

If this is your first time here, stop by the Welcome Central desk in the lobby and our volunteers will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

MEET OUR TEAM We believe in the power of Team Leadership. Our Pastors function as a Pastoral Leadership Team by working together to achieve the vision that God has for this church.

Join the women this Saturday, May 9th from 2:00p - 4:00p for an afternoon full of fun! We will have a speaker, a fashion show sponsored by Chaneni House, and unlimited tea. Tickets are now available online for $8 each, buy a few and invite your friends and neighbors.

FBCScottsdale has a summer internship program every year. There are interships available for all ministries, including Children, Adult, and Communications. This is a great way to get your feet wet and see if ministry is for you. Applications are due today.

4. Gallery Opening

The art gallery at FBCScottsdale allows us an opportunity to showcase the artistic expression and story of artists across the valley. This month we will feature photographer Bruce Boyce. Come to the public opening on Friday, May 8th at 7:00p then head over to Winfield’s for some great jazz by the Scott Sadlon group. Come on out, bring a friend, and support the stories of our local artists.

5. the forum

FBCScottsdale is a place that values discussion and learning from each others’ stories. We wanted to create a welcoming place where people could do just that. We are excited to announce the kick-off of our new discussion-based service that will meet on Sunday nights at 6:00p in Winfield’s. The Forum is a service where you have the opportunity to participate in community, discuss important topics, and invite those who are not comfortable coming to church in a traditional Sunday morning setting. Join us on Sunday, May 31st for a Grill & Chill and hear more about this exciting new service.
