TRANSDERMAL FORMULATIONS – Many medications can be compounded into specialized creams or gels for simplistic transdermal use which include: methimazole, tramadol, acepromazine, amitriptyline, amlodipine, atenolol, busprione, clomipramine, famotidine, ivermectin, phenobarbital, glipizide, metoclopramide, loperamide & enrofloxacin. DES (DIETHYLSTILBESTROL) – This drug has been a very popular treatment for urinary incontinence in animals. We only compound DES as a capsule, as the active ingredient is too bitter for liquid dosage forms. BRONCHODILATORS – Well Life Pharmacy stocks aminophylline and theophylline for our veterinary patients. These can be used to treat many disease states such as asthma, bronchitis, congestive heart failure, and pulmonary edema.
