Volunteer at the Piaute Center This Christmas season we have a wonderful opportunity to partner with the Paiute Center, a local community center down the road. Each Christmas they collect hundreds of toys in a little room on their campus. They need help sorting the toys that then go to families and children in the area who cannot afford presents for Christmas. We have volunteered for the week of December 9th - 13th. Shifts are 9:00a - 12:00p and 1:00 - 4:00p. Sign up at Welcome Central! Thanksgiving Celebration - A Night Of Worship Join us tonight at 6:30p in the Sanctuary for a great night of worship. Take some time this season to thank God for who He is and for what He has done. Bring your family and a friend or two. We will sing and pray together and share what we are thankful for this year. Turkey Bowl Join us for our 101st Annual Turkey Bowl! This Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th, join us for some flag football at Navajo Elementary. All ages and experience are welcome. Women’s Christmas Tea - Tickets This year the Women’s Tea is on Saturday, December 14th from Noon - 3:00p. Tickets are available for purchase today! Tickets cost $8.00 a piece or you could buy a table for 8 for $60.00. Get your tickets before or after the service today. Photo-A-Day Challenge We are asking you to take specific pictures every day for the month of December. There are a couple different ways to submit your pictures. If you are on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram use the hashtag #FBCSchristmas. Or if you want to bring in physical pictures, you can drop them off at Welcome Central on Sunday mornings or at the church office throughout the week. Same God 1As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. 2My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? 3 My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me all day long, ‘Where is your God?’ 4 These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng. 5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
