Ye Shall Live Also 030502-3 Hello! This is Dorothy When we turn to the New Testament, we turn to the Book of the Resurrection. Please start turning to the Word of God; not to little things that talk about the Word of God, but turn to the Word of God. It is alive! If our Lord Jesus Christ had remained buried in the grave, the story of His life and death would have remained buried with Him. The resurrection does not grow out of the beautiful story of the life of Lord Jesus Christ here on earth; the beautiful story of Christ’s life grew out of the fact of the resurrection. The record of the appearances of the risen Christ proves a literal, physical resurrection. All these appearances bear witness to the fact that it was not an incorporeal spirit or phantom or ghost, but a real, bodily Christ that they saw. Christ bore the marks of His great sacrifice. We are told that when we see Him in Heaven, if we know and love Jesus, we shall see what has been described in Revelation 5:6 . . . a Lamb as it had been slain. What do we see when we get to heaven? A Lamb as it had been slain. That is our Jesus. Our Lord could be seen; He could be touched; He could be handled; He was recognizable; He ate and drank in the presence of those around Him. It was a real body composed of . . . flesh and bones.(Luke 24:39.) Notice this: no blood. People do not realize that in His resurrection body, that Blood had already been 1

given as a sacrifice for your sin and mine. It was

presented in the

Holy of holies in the presence of God by the Lamb of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, the High Priest. That Blood ever-liveth to make intercession, because that Blood, by His Spirit, causes that Jesus Christ ever-brings before a Holy God what the Blood did when it was brought into the Holy of holies meeting God in the Shekhinah glory. God could look upon Him who brought it, the High Priest, because He looked on the Blood.

In that little book, Your Quest for God, which my husband wrote, it explains very clearly about this precious Blood. The resurrection and the precious Blood go together. The work of the Spirit in your life is tied up with the covering, the protection, the forgiveness, and the wonder of the work of His Blood for you and me as a believer. I hope you have that little book. If you have any question of where you stand and whether you know the Lord Jesus, this book is available. It is free for you. We want you to be sure to have it, so do send for it. Please notice how you can obtain this - at the end of the broadcast.

There are Scriptures in Romans and Thessolonians, which can only make sense on the ground of a bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus from the grave. In Luke 24, we read in verse 11 - And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. You see, we have a Book before us, the holy Word of God, the Scriptures. We 2

can hear what people say and we can read about it, but deep down within you and me, we have to respond by faith, or else, sadly, it will be as words of just idle tales, and we do not believe them. Luke 24 36

This same Jesus said unto them, as He stood in the midst,

Peace be unto you. 37

But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that

they had seen a spirit. 38

And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? And why do

you have thoughts arising in your hearts? 39

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me,

and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. 40

And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands

and his feet. 41

And when they believed not for joy, and wondered, he said

unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of broiled fish, and of a honeycomb. 43

And he took it, and did eat before them.

44

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake

unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he - that is Jesus - their understanding - and I am praying He will open for you - they might understand the Scriptures. For you and me - we need to pray right now that the Lord will open our 3

understanding, that we might understand the Scriptures; not as something in our head, but something living in our hearts. We pray in the Name of Jesus as you respond even now. Let let us know how we can spiritually help you. It is for His glory alone that we are looking for Him to do that for you. We love you. God bless.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
