3. What does Scripture say about how we, as followers of Jesus Christ, are to forgive? Are we to bring up a past sin once forgiveness has been granted? (Read Luke 15:11-32 and 17:3-5)

4. Pastor Joey references Revelation 12:10 and said in his sermon, “to harbor unforgiveness is to be conformed into the image of the accuser.” What do you think of this statement?

5. Can you ever have reconciliation and restoration apart from forgiveness?

6. If you struggle with forgiveness being granted to you by God through the person and work of Jesus Christ, is there some sin that you have committed that seems so bad that you can’t imagine God forgiving you? Or, are you holding on to some sin that keeps you from receiving the forgiveness granted?

Read Matthew 6:9-13, the message focuses on the phrase “and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” 1. How do the Ten Commandments speak to our relationships? How can the Ten Commandments help us to understand forgiveness? (Given in Exodus 20) 2. What does it look like for God to forgive us our debts? As Christians, does God hold our debts against us? (Read Micah 7:18-19 and Luke 15:11-32)
