Upcoming Events PRAYER MINISTRY—come join us every Sabbath at 9:10 a.m. We will be meeting in the last room at the end of the hall, next to the women’s restroom, for a special time of prayer. HYMN FESTIVAL—The 2017 WESTERN MARYLAND CHORAL & HYMN FESTIVAL will be held today at 4 p.m. in the Highland View Church. This concert is dedicated to Samuel Yoomin Choi. Our choir will be participating along with the “Highlanders” and Gettysburg United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome. SABBATH SUNDOWN SERENADE—today at 6 p.m. Kevin Booth, a professional singer, sings ‘a new song’ now, since Jesus has first place in his heart. Be sure to invite your friends. HVA SENIOR CLASS—will present their senior class play, “Fools”, tonight at 7 p.m. All proceeds are going to support their mission trip to Panama. MT AETNA SCHOOL SPRING FESTIVAL—will be held tomorrow from 12-4 p.m. We need lots of helpers to make this a successful event for our kids. LADIES LUNCHEON—the ladies will meet on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at “the Grille” at the runway close to the airport. If you have any questions, please contact Von Marie (301) 790-2008. PRAYER MEETING—We continue our prayer meeting Wednesday, at 7 p.m. Come join us for prayer and Bible study, as we start our study with Dr. Rice in the book of John. CHURCH CHOIR— Rehearsals are on Fridays at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY—we were saddened to learn that Clara Burtnett died on March 7. Her husband, Larry, died on January 5. They were faithful members here for many years while working at the Review and Herald. Let’s remember this family in our prayers. Services will be at the Collegedale Church in TN on March 19, at 2 p.m. Other Announcements NEW FLOWER CALENDAR—Please select a date on the new flower calendar posted on the bulletin board for 2017. STEM FAIR—will be held in Mt. Aetna School’s gym on Thursday, March 16, from 6-8 p.m. The 3rd—8th grades will be presenting their projects from 6-7, and there will be hands-on activities for grades k-2 from 6-7:30. Please come out and support the hard work and ingenuity of our students. FELLOWSHIP DINNER—next Sabbath, March 18. Menu: Potluck MARRIAGE SEMINAR—on March 18, Martinsburg SDA Church will present Building Vibrant Marriages with Tom & Alane Waters. Service Opportunities FOOD DRIVE—Please remember our food drive for ACTS 9. There is a food basket located in the foyer for nonperishable food donations to benefit the center, or you may give a monetary donation through the tithe envelope. The Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church is a place where all people may grow in Christ and prepare for His soon return.
