Messag e f rom t he Presid ent The Gallia County Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business and we proudly represent nearly 200 businesses from multiple counties in our region. Those businesses represent over 5,000 employees in our area, and it is our goal to protect the best interest of those businesses, so they may thrive and prosper in today’s economic climate. In 2014, we initiated a more sensible membership structure to provide more value and a greater impact for our members. The feedback we received paints a picture of success, and with that success, our goal is to expand on that structure and continue to tweak our membership, so each and every business can reap the benefits and rewards that comes with being an active member of the Chamber. We encourage our businesses and take an active role in helping to spur community growth. We participate in economic development programs that are designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of our businesses and their employees. We are your voice. We are the voice of a membership that, at times, requires us to take the leadership role in state and local issues, which can drastically impact our membership as a whole. I encourage you to take advantage of the networking opportunities that exist and realize that, among the many advantages to your membership, this may be the most important. Time is something we all wish we had more of, but networking among your peers can be a priceless benefit that will only be recognized if it were no longer available. We truly appreciate and value your membership. If you are not a member and you find yourself asking, “What can the Chamber do for my business?”, do not hesitate to call the office at 740-446-0596. Sincerely,

Bryan Long Board President

Messag e f rom t he Exec u t ive Direct or As 2014 comes to a close, I want to thank all the members for your understanding and support this past year. As we anticipate 2015, your Chamber will be looking at new and innovative ways to stay in contact with members, offer training and seminars, plus other opportunities, to make membership in the Gallia County Chamber of Commerce advantageous for businesses of all sizes and types. Highlights from 2014 are included in this publication, as well as information about the 2015 Membership Investment structure. In 2014, we launched a new tiered structure and received great feedback from members. We will continue this structure in 2015 and have enhanced the benefit choices based on suggestions from members. Membership in the Chamber of Commerce is not only an investment in the Gallia County business community, but in Gallia County as a whole. Business is the base on which all other things are built within a community and a strong partnership, between area businesses, is the key to ensuring our region is successful. It is important to me to hear from members. It is YOUR Chamber! We want to offer services that are beneficial to you and your business. If you have a need, please make the Chamber your first contact. If we can’t help you directly, we have a wide variety of resources and contacts at our disposal. I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you in the coming years. Sincerely,

is the base on which all other ” “ Business things are built within a community...
