World Changers Mission Support Letter Example

Dear World Changer, Please use the example on the following page as a guide. Feel free to re-word and personalize as much as possible. It is suggested to include a pre-addressed and pre-stamped envelope with each letter, so that people can easily send a check to you if they are so led. All checks should be made out to Brices Creek Bible Church with “youth mission” in the memo line. As letters and checks come back to your house, be encouraged, and record each amount so you can write thank you letters after the trip. Any excess amount beyond $215 will go to help others from our team that might have a shortage. Checks can be turned into Phil or slipped under his office door to be recorded and turned in to our finance team. Be sure that your name is either on each check’s memo line or on the envelope with the check. Youth who do not send out at least five support letters will be required to pay any remaining balance for the trip. Feel free to use the church directory as a resource. These can be picked up in the foyer. We are also planning a couple of required training meetings and permission form signing parties on Wednesday, June 15th, Wednesday, June 22nd, and a car wash on Saturday, June 18th. Dear Aunt Sue, I have a great opportunity this summer that I want to tell you about. My youth group at Brice’s Creek Bible Church is partnering with World Changers to serve and share the good news about Jesus with the people of Morganton, North Carolina. Each day we will be sent out in teams to do construction, painting, building wheel chair ramps, sharing the good news, as well as other projects being developed. In our devotions and evening worship time, we will also be led in a theme called LIVE-LOVE-SPEAK BOLDLY, based on I Thessalonians 2:8. It will be a privilege to work alongside other churches, and I believe that together we will accomplish more for Christ! (EXPLAIN WHY YOU WANT TO GO, HOW GOD IS LEADING YOU, WHAT YOU HOPE TO GET OUT OF THE TRIP AND WHAT YOU HOPE TO GIVE TO THE PEOPLE OF Morganton.
