The 38th Worman Sword Saturday May 27th 2017 We need a new course record!! with the addition of a 2nd Par 5 at Wyke Green Golf Club, this year's Worman Sword will be played on a Par 70 golf course for the first time in the events history. The lowest gross score on the day will also become the new (Par 70) Course Record Holder at Wyke Green Golf Club As part of the MCGU Order of Merit the 36 hole Scratch open, The Worman Sword is our clubs flagship event.

Amongst our past winners we have several European Tour players including James Heath, Adam Gee and Andrew "Beef" Johnston. We look forward to welcoming the best players from the County of Middlesex and beyond to compete in the 38th playing of the Worman Sword. As usual the event will be a 36 hole stroke play competition with a first place prize fund of £500! Entry Fee = £45 (£35 if paid by March 31st) The entry fee includes; • Practice rounds • Refreshments on arrival • Ploughmans Lunch • A Golfers Tea • All prizes

The annual competition for the Worman Sword will be played at Wyke Green on Saturday 27th May 2017 Entries are welcome from members of recognised Golf Clubs with a maximum handicap of 8 Entrance fee of £45.00 (£35.00 if paid by 31st March) Optional Sweep on the day. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your tee time.
