Wyoming Architects State Requirements Total Hours: 16 Detail: 16 HSW Renewal Cycle: Biennial Renewal Deadline: December 31st depending on issue date. FAQ’s How do I renew my license? Licenses expire on December 31st of the year following the year of issue. (For example, a license issued in 2012 expires on December 31, 2013.) Notice and application for license renewal are mailed to each licensed architect and landscape architect at their last address of record approximately sixty (60) days prior to December 31st. The renewal application must be post-marked by December 31st of the renewal year to be considered. Any renewal application received with a post-mark after December 31st is returned, and the license becomes void. When the renewal application is approved, the license is renewed for two (2) calendar years. The licensed architect and landscape architect will receive a new pocket ID card and a receipt for the renewal fee. Who notifies the State of my continued education? It is the licensee’s responsibility to notify the state. You are required to keep records of your continuing education credits for 2 years after the submission of the form to which it relates. I have extra credit hours; can I apply them to the next renewal cycle? No I am licensed as an Engineer as well as an Architect, how many hours of Continued Education must I complete?
