RETREAT MEAL PLANNING Hi FRIENDS, one of the best things about going on a retreat is EATING FOOD!!!!! That is why every year we try hard to make amazing meals so we can sit around and nom,nom,nom! Instructions: (PLEASE READ IN FULL!) If you have been designated as a leader of a meal team, it is your job to reach out to your team and decide what you want to make, and conquer as a team. Everyone usually brings different items to contribute to the meal, but you are in charge of deciding what needs to be included and make sure everyone has their part covered. Please make an entire meal, including: Drink, Main Course, Extras (Salads, breads etc), Condiments, Dessert, --once split up it is totally doable and we usually have AMAZING MEALS on this retreat!! The meal is generally prepared at the cabin so no need to create a head of time. Please be aware of those who might be Gluten free*, and if you are Gluten free, (or even dairy free/vegetarian) maybe bring a few options of your own in case you have to turn to it! If you know which meals you will be there for, don’t feel bad to make them aware of your specific needs so they can help! Please check to see what team you are on, and make sure your team connects! If you have a favorite snack, bring it! And also if you have coffee or a drink option laying around that you want to share, share it! J ***Please be present to help prepare the meal with your team, everyone is assigned a meal (as listed below) and your team needs you to help cook it as well! J FRIDAY NIGHT: If you are coming Friday (middle school leaders), please eat previous to coming up! We will have snacks and such but not a dinner.
