YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY ASSISTANT The Young Adult Ministry Assistant will support the Student Pastor in reaching and discipling Young Adults at Grace Baptist Church and in the surrounding areas of Woodbridge and the Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) campus.

ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENTS 1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 10 hours/week 2. Participating in meetings/training: 1-2 hours/week To fulfill the responsibilities and duties outlined below, it is expected that this position will require an average of 12 hours per week. There will be certain seasons of ministry that will require additional hours of planning and ministry due to the unique schedule of working with students.

Coordinate and lead young adult community groups (including Sunday Small Group) with a focus on Bible study, fellowship, and discipleship. Supported by prayer, reach out weekly to students on the NOVA campus for evangelism and discipleship. . Coordinate and lead monthly worship gatherings that target Young Adults with Biblical content that addresses their season in life (i.e. career planning, living counter-culture, dating, etc.) Bi-weekly meetings with the Student Pastor for planning, evaluation, and praying. Attend Worship Weekly Services Other responsibilities as assigned by the Student Pastor

REQUIREMENTS • • •

High School Diploma or equivalent required (2 year/4 year degree preferred) Professing believer in Jesus Christ with a Biblical understanding of the Gospel. Covenant member (before or upon hiring) of Grace Baptist Church.

Competent teacher of the Word of God. Agreement with the Grace Baptist Church Statement of Faith
