YW Computer Scavenger Hunt Both Team members must complete all tasks individually unless it is indicated that you can do it together. You must show a leader when you complete each task, and they will initial it when you are done. Beard in the Clerk’s office downstairs. ______#1 ______#2 2. Use your membership number and birthdate to sign-up for a log-in on lds.org. ______#1 ______#2 3. Find the Resources tab on the lds.org homepage and navigate to the Youth portion of the site. Take the poll “What do you do most often to make your parents happy?” at the bottom of the youth homepage and submit your answer. _______#1 & #2 together 4. Find the Personal Progress section on the Youth homepage and navigate to it. Once you are on the PP page, click on the “Getting Started” page and read what it says. ______#1 ______#2 5. Go to the Individual Worth value and find Value Experience #6 and click on “Start Now”. ______#1 ______#2 6. Back at the Youth homepage, find the Family History & Youth section. At the bottom of the page, find “See My Family Tree.” Create your family fan tree at createfan.com and save it as a pdf. ______#1 ______#2

7. On the Family History and Youth section, watch the video from Elder Bednar when he addresses the Youth about the importance of Family History and Indexing. _______#1 & #2 together

8. At the Family History & Youth section, go to the link for “Register on indexing.familysearch.org”. Complete the Indexing “Test Drive” _______#1 & #2 together

9. From the Family Search Indexing page, click on “get started” and download a batch and complete indexing on 2 records (one for each person). You may need to click on the FamilySearchIndexing icon from the desktop. _______#1 & #2 together

10. Back at the Youth homepage, find the link to the new Come, Follow Me curriculum and watch on the “Videos for Youth and Parents” page the entire video entitled, “We Learn.” In the video one of the young men talks about how you can gain a foundation in the church by doing 3 things. List them below. 1. 2. 3. 11. Go into the Young Women section of the new curriculum and list what the topic for NOVEMBER will be_______________________________________________ _______#1 & #2 together 12.
